It seems not to be working with my repair guy. I think his recovery has been slower than he thought. Sooo I may have to ask for your help again. Hi Sallie! Mea culpa! I got so caught up in the game, and the moment I have been largely offline until recently. We won 3-0, a very good clean sheet. We were up 2-0 at half ( the hardest lead to keep in soccer ) and reminded the team the opposition will bring it to you early second half—be ready for it. And they did for sure our goalie making several saves in both halves. It was the first game of the season where we clearly won both halves of the match against good opponents. To me it was their first “complete” game of the season. And good thing. We play the only undefeated team in our league next Thursday, and they tied the team we played 2-2. We play our game next week and we will likely create many chances for us to score and win. That would lock us in for CIF playoffs and put us solidly in second place in the league.

So, the turn signal, the arm on the left of the steering column, no longer engages and makes the “tick-tock-tick-tock” sound until you turn. What is interesting is I can move the left turning arm either direction and it holds position like it should, and when you turn, it disengages like it should. Based on my research, and what I’ve eliminated, it comes down to one of two things that need replacing. 1. Turn Signal Flasher - $16 — https://bit.ly/3YmHQd0 This is like a fuse but it helps regulate flashing. The first option above is what I would like to try next because it MAY solve the problem. If I replaced this with a new one and then go to number 2, the entire assembly it would cost between $50-$264 Difference between used and new. 2. Column Switch Assembly Used - $50 — https://ebay.to/3Jdt6c8 New - $264 — https://bit.ly/3KYkyac I hope this helps inform you and help you decide what you would like to do. The past week has been an absolute whirlwind. Updates to my website to make it current, rewrite of the resume to make it also current and up to date. Time consuming searches for the right opportunities. Replying to headhunters, etc. Its all going well and things are showing up, but no interview just yet. I expect that probably by next week. Applications are still going out the door and have already heard back from a few companies who were impressed and keeping me on file, but no interviews. So much of it has to do with timing—right place, right time, right fit. We’ll see 😊 I am an eternally optimistic realist.

Headed to Arches National Park later today. Never been so I’m excited to see it in person. Went to Zion and hiked the Narrows and went hiking 🥾 in the river about a mile. They’ve had a lot of water and river is running well. The river up to my armpits in some spots. Mostly up to my knees most of the way. Hope the dialysis makes you feel better soon 😊 Been in Carbondale 2 weeks now. Don’t feel settled, just the opposite. I feel homeless which isn’t great on top of my Depression which is getting worse since I arrived. Mountains are pretty but haven’t felt happiness in so long I don’t know. So big picture life is depressing right now. Wish I had better news to share

Hi Sallie ! Its Bert. Apologies for the radio silence. This past summer was deeply transformational and moving. Right now, I’m the best version of Bert there has ever been. Pure and true awareness, and a groundedness that never existed in me before. No longer am I whipped about by emotions; allowing them to dictate behavior and speech. These past few years have changed me for the best. However I still carry sadness in my heart. I arrived back in Ojai Sunday Morning and just started coaching yesterday, and will be here at least until the end of the soccer season. Let me know how you are! I ask the boys and they say ‘ok’ and that’s about it. Are you getting dialysis normally? Thinking I could bring you some Starbucks and pay a visit some time before practice the remainder of this week and catch up. Let me know if any day this week works for you. Hey Bert—it’s been a few weeks since I wrote to you!! I’m glad to hear you’re feeling well. That’s so good. I’m a bit slower but do have a pacemaker—as of a week and a half ago— one embedded directly into my heart. I get the final oblation on November 13. I’m continuing on dialysis 3 days a week. I have a caregiver 3 days a week for 4 hours each day. I am happy to see you to catch up on Thursday if that works for you. I don’t get going very early but after 12 works for me. There are moments when my cup overflows a bit from the triple-headed life crises, and I lose awareness, and the emotions take my breath away before tears begin. Yes works on iPad and laptops. First game 2-1 loss Yesterday 4-1 loss We’ve only been with them for two weeks and Well. Both teams we played our four or more divisions higher than us. As long as the guys stay healthy, we should do well this season

Not sure how it will unfold. My surgeon is now head of neuro surgery at UCLA. Made a move up from Ventura. I do want to see him again. My outcome was so good that I feel good putting my back in his hands. Recovery presents a challenge. However, I need a solid place to call my own. The universe is keeping doors shut on me right now for reasons unknown. Certainly not for lack of effort or attitude—I’ve been ready to rock-n-roll in a new role for months. Has dialysis gotten any easier for you?
